We exploit a wide range of design tools including Zuken's Cadstar software, which offers high flexibility in both manual and automatic routing. With a well-organised component library structure and high-speed digital design capability, Cadstar supplements our design expertise and facilitates our fast and effective service. A wide range of industry-standard input formats are supported.
Cadlay's latest major software investment is Altium Designer. This software is a truly integrated package combining the latest in schematic capture and pcb layout tools with comprehensive and flexible error checking and reporting facilities.
For pre-layout management of design constraints and post-design verification we offer a simulation service using
Hyperlynx. This permits a design to be checked
for potential problems with crosstalk, over/undershoot or
impedance matching problems prior to manufacture.
Cadlay offers a "Shared Desktop" facility with all these design tools. Customers are offered the facility to log on securely to our designer's workstation and view or change the design whilst discussing live by voice or text with the designer. This facility removes uncertainty during the design process and can reduce the total design cost dramatically.
